One minute he was sitting next to Aang; they had an old book open and were crouched over it. Zuko was pointing to a certain scripture and repeating it to his pupil. Aang, wide-eyed and eager to learn, soaked it up like a little bald sponge.
“I didn’t know you even liked scripture, son.”
There was a collective gasp as the group saw the Dragon of the West saunter toward him. He’s lost weight, combed up his beard, and looked quite healthy. But, their eyes didn’t linger on the new visitor long. They all turned to Zuko, waiting for his reaction.
